Yesterday I went to My Big Fat Greek Restaurant for lunch. They have great specials. My favorite is the Gyro it comes with seasoned fries or salad. I choose the fries this time and I tell them to forget the catsup I want more tzaztziki sauce. The sauce is made with greek yogurt, garlic, lemon and parsley. Yummy.
They also have a great shrimp appetizer. It is made with white wine, garlic and tomatoes. One of these days I will order the flaming saganaki. It is a salty greek cheese that is floured then fried. When they bring it out they douse it in wine, light it up and then douse it with lemon.
